Tool Box
This project aim was to develop an app/browser extension providing tailored tools for adults with dyslexia and ADHD. Enhancing productivity and confidence with features like reading assistance and memory aids, and seek to combat stigma and promote inclusivity.
01
Whats The Problem?
There are various tools scattered over the internet to help people with learning differences, such as dyslexia and ADHD, but they are not the most accessible.
Most of the help you see for these issues is targeted towards children and school work. but there is nothing to help adults with day-to-day struggles. This becomes a stigma and makes it a lot harder for people to ask for help, therefore people avoid doing certain things or stay up to ridiculous hours trying to do the things that neurotypical people can do an 1/8th of the time.
I feel like there is a gap in the market for a more sophisticated designed app/browser extension to give help and provide tools to help with everyday tasks such as reading, helping memory and much more.
02
USP
The app occupies a unique position in the market by offering a comprehensive suite of tools specifically designed to support adults with dyslexia and ADHD in one convenient platform.
Unlike existing solutions that may focus on individual aspects such as reading assistance or task management, the app integrates a wide range of features tailored to address the diverse needs of this target audience. From dyslexia-friendly fonts to ADHD-friendly task lists and time management tools, users can access everything they need in one place, streamlining their experience and eliminating the need to juggle multiple apps or resources.
This comprehensive approach sets the app apart, providing users with a holistic solution that addresses the interconnected challenges they face in their daily lives, ultimately enhancing their productivity, confidence, and overall well-being.

Graphics
From doing my research I discovered that I used the word ‘tool’ a lot. I wanted to use this in the name the main name that stood out to me was Tool box.
I feel like this name sums up the app very well. A toolbox is already a thing so I feel like it tells people a lot about the brand before they know what it entails.

Result
I didn’t have enough time to complete all of the things I wanted for this app such as intro illustrations for each tool.
I am going to continue with this project after submission as I feel so passionate about the idea. I am going to find someone who can code apps and collaborate to try and make this app real as I feel like it would be able to help a lot of people, myself included.
